A “Picture of Health” - Is it naptime yet?

I’ve been thinking lately about when this all started. When did the low energy and fatigue actually begin? After some soul-searching, I realized the truth: I feel as though I’ve been tired since I was thirteen years old.
For most of my life, I looked like the picture of health. I didn’t battle excessive weight; I’m the type of person who could gain ten pounds without it really showing. I looked great... I was just exhausted.
I am incredibly fortunate that I’ve never had a major illness or disease to contend with. Instead, my journey has been a slow drip of daily fatigue. I remember my Naturopathic Practitioner once commenting on my blood pressure. It wasn't out of the "normal" range, but it was sitting right at the bottom of it. He looked at me and said, "The good news is you have a healthy heart, and you’ll likely live a very long life. The bad news is you'll be tired for most of it."
That’s the "good news/bad news" of my story.
This irony has put me on a lifelong pursuit of optimum health. I’ve always believed that to be a good teacher, you first have to be a diligent student. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of learning from amazing practitioners who helped me navigate this path.
A quick (and necessary) disclaimer: I am not a trained health professional, and I’m not here to give medical advice. But I am a woman who has spent decades trial-and-erroring my way through life’s seasons and body changes. I’m not opposed to sharing exactly what has worked for me—and what definitely hasn't.
If my story resonates with you or you’re just curious about how to turn that "slow drip" of fatigue into a bit more flow, I hope you'll stay tuned for upcoming posts. We have a lot to talk about.
"To your health and your heart,"
